Shan Masood is a Pakistani international cricketer who competes for Yorkshire County Cricket Club & Multan Sultans as well as the Pakistani national team.He bats with his left hand and occasionally bowls with his right arm at a medium speed.

After being struck on the head during a practice session in preparation for the team's first Twenty20 World Cup match in Australia, batsman Shan Masood was able to play with only "superficial bruising."
On Sunday, Pakistan will begin their campaign in Melbourne against India, their archrival.
As the team got ready for the game, Masood was hit in the head by a stray shot from Mohammad Nawaz, and he was sent to the hospital for scans before getting hurt.
The neurological observations made by Shan Masood are all normal.In a statement, the Pakistan Cricket Board stated, "His CT scan only shows superficial bruising where the ball struck him."
The PCB added, "He will be re-tested (Saturday)" for concussion.
Masood, 33, is regarded as a technically competent top-order batsman. Since making his debut for Pakistan in September, he has scored two half-centuries in 12 T20 matches.

Pakistan reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup last year, defeating India. They were led by Babar Azam.
